DG- this post takes an innovative look at the glass half full/half empty question. What a fabulous metaphor regarding the men you meet and the attitude you have towards them.

The longer I work as a dating coach and talk to women about dating and men, the more I subscribe to the idea that women need to appreciate men - the majority of men. That's means noticing more wild flowers.

If a woman thinks most men are weeds, she not only energetically telegraphs this belief (which by the way turns men off) but she probably passes over many wild flowers mistaking them for weeds. That is such a shame and missed opportunity.

Be selective - sure! But appreciating men is an outlook that makes a woman far more attractive and successful on the dating scene. And she'll have a lot more fun along the way too.

Nice prespective. I think many of our lives would be enriched by this approach. So many people are hell bent on finding "THE ONE" that they overlook people who can add something to our lives. It doesn't mean that we have to settle or even date them just accept them in a positive light. Many will move on and others may end up being a friend or an acquaintence that could add value.
